MADDY'S STORY
Since 2019, I've been preserving the beauty of nature through pressed flowers, creating poetic pieces with a contemporary aesthetic.
I'm French, and I've been living in England for the past ten years. I like to think my work lives somewhere between the two: the French art de vivre and the quiet beauty of the English countryside.
Flower pressing is, for me, an act of mindfulness. It encourages a slower pace of life, a deeper connection with the natural world, and an appreciation for what is often overlooked.
I create bespoke flower preservation pieces, transforming meaningful bouquets into lasting keepsakes. I also host workshops and events, sharing the timeless craft of flower pressing and inviting others to slow down, create, and reconnect with nature.
Many of the flowers I work with are gathered from my family's garden in Brittany, while others are sourced sustainably from temperate climates. Each flower is carefully pressed using traditional handcrafted techniques before becoming part of a modern botanical composition.
I hope my work brings a sense of calm, joy and poetry into your home.
